Are you interested in water security, water quality and climate resilience? REACH is currently advertising three research roles, based in the University of Oxford:

Senior Research Associate in Water Quality, Climate and Health

In this role funded by the GCRF Water Hub, as part of Dr Katrina Charles’team, the post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a programme of research on integrating health into water security methodologies and tools, to highlight the aggregated impact to physical, mental and social well-being. This research will be focused on challenges in Ethiopia, and other countries, such as India, Colombia, and Malaysia.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Water Quality, Climate and Health

The post holder will join Dr Katrina Charles’ water quality team which leads research on interdisciplinary approaches to improving the safety and reliability of drinking water services in low- and middle-income countries. This research is funded from UNICEF Bangladesh and REACH to support development of the SafePani model for safe drinking water delivery in coastal Bangladesh. The post holder will be based in the University of Oxford with significant overseas travel.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Climate Resilience and Water Security

Joining Dr Katrina Charles’ water quality team, the post holder will have responsibility for developing and implementing a programme of research aligned to the research themes of the group: climate resilience, water security and health. This research will be focused on challenges in one or more of the countries the team are active in, including Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Kenya.
