Authors: Seifu Kebede, Katrina Charles,Samuel Godfrey, Alan MacDonald & Richard G. Taylor

Relationships between surface waters and groundwaters at basin scale are rarely investigated but have important implications for water resource development and management. The aim of this study is to characterize regional-scale surface water–groundwater interactions in the River Awash Basin (110 000 km2) of Ethiopia.
