Rebecca is a DPhil candidate studying linkages among water security, economic growth, and poverty reduction, primarily focusing on the garment industry in Bangladesh. Her research will examine how regulation affects polluter behavior to comply with existing standards; the role of industry to improve river-society-economy system health; and identifying decision support tools to strengthen effective enforcement strategies for pollution deterrence.
