Samuel is an ‘implementing academic’. Graduated from the Water Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC) with a PhD in Water Engineering, he has 18 years’ experience in the global water and sanitation sector. He is currently WASH Advisor for East and Southern Africa at UNICEF ESARO and has published more than 40 peer reviewed academic publications, 5 books and numerous academic chapters.
