Bukachi

Salome is Associate Professor at the Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies, University of Nairobi. She is a social anthropologist with over 18 years progressive experience working on infectious diseases with a focus on community participation, gender, health systems and the socio-economic and cultural/behavioural aspects of infectious diseases. She works with various stakeholders both local and international in undertaking research and development on anthropological issues.
