Dr Rob Hope was a keynote speaker at this conference of the ESRC-DFID Joint Fund for Poverty Alleviation Research, providing a keynote on ‘Translating research ideas into water security impacts for the poor in rural Kenya’. The REACH programme will build on this research on financial sustainability of rural water services through a Water Security Observatory on Water Secure Institutions in Kitui County, Kenya.
