Tanjila has Research interests in Groundwater Hydrology, Groundwater Modelling, Hydrogeologic Analysis of Coastal Aquifers, Coastal Issues, Integrated Water Resources Management and Remote sensing and GIS in Water management. She has experience in Hydraulic structure design and characterization of the urban drainage system of Dhaka.
