Daniel is Principal Investigator for REACH in Kenya. His current research focuses on the interactions between groundwater, surface water, climate, environment and humans with a focus on eastern Africa. He was elected RHODES Scholar for Kenya in 1990, and obtained his DPhil in Physical Geography/Quaternary Geology at the University of Oxford.
